Honestly, I have no real reason to be complaining...but I will. Some background...We are in the process of relocating to Raleigh, NC from NYC. We don't have any family there or friends. We are moving due to my husbands promotion. I am excited and so are our children.
The only hitch is getting our house sold, figuring out if we want to buy immediately when we get down there or renting. Its looking like we will be moving sooner than we think.
You know how that goes and moving with 3 kids - two of which are school age. So of course I am looking for good schools and extra curricular activities. So any one out there from NC or newly relocated to that area - drop me a line. Also, any african-american hairdressers~!
I am also in search of a mommies group for play dates for my 2.5 y.o.
I always wondered why there wasn't an easier way for newcomers to just access area information... Especially Mom's... we'll see....

Right now I have a couple from Portugal I am trying out. I am happily married mother of three. I have one of each sex and a bonus (smile). My family is my focus. We spend quality family time together as much as possible. I work in the community and love it. I recently over the past two years have gone to wine tastings.
